FATHER’S DAY UKRAINIAN FOLK FESTIVAL

Ukrainian-American Sport Center – Tryzub, County Line and Lower State Roads, Horsham, PA; Sunday, June 17 – The popular Father’s Day Ukrainian Folk Fest will commence at 1:00 pm. A stage show featuring THE VOLOSHKY SCHOOL OF UKRAINIAN DANCE, ACCORDIONIST WALTER SYZONENKO, and SINGERS: Sofiya Pitula and Maksim Shcherbatyuk will commence at 2:00 P.M. A Zabava - Public Dance to the tunes of WALT SYZONENKO will follow the stage show. There will be plentiful homemade Ukrainian ethnic foods (pierogies, kielbasa, and holuptsi) and baked goods, as well as standard picnic fare and refreshments. FREE ADMISSION! FREE PARKING!

USASA National Championship Games: On this same day, Tryzub will also host the US Amateur Soccer Association’s US Open and Amateur Cups (Men’s,  Women’s, Over 30) Region I Championship Games. There being 4 regions in the US, these games are the quarterfinals for the overall American Championships. The National Championship Final Game for the Under 23 tournament will take place as well. Play will progress throughout the day, until 7:00 P.M. Some of the best amateur soccer teams in America will compete.
